My ??-teenth Dragon Age: Origins Playthrough

Warden in Dark Runic ArmorI think I’m up to about fourteen playthroughs. Well, maybe fifteen. I lost count.

In any case, this is basically THE playthrough, the very save file that I’ll be porting over to Dragon Age 2. I had one save file all set up back in May or so, but looking back, I can’t say I was all too happy with some of the choices I made.

Much like my previous playthrough, I had yet another go over at the mods at Dragon Age Nexus and put together this rough loadout you see right here (in no particular order or preference).

1. Bag Of Holding
2. GT Core Rules Fixpack
3. Grey Warden Runic Armor (Dark)
4. Jojjo Weapons
5. HSLI Sexy Robes
6. Camp Storage Chest
7. Better Sex Cutscenes
8. DLC Merchandise
9. Natural Bodies All-In-One
10. Innodil’s Pocket Plane
11. Hairy Heroes
12. Dragon Age Redesigned v7.3
13. Eyebrow Presets
14. Facial Hairs by Wolfheart
15. No Helmet Hack
16. PTS Vibrant Colors
17. Skip the Fade
18. The Phoenix Armory
19. Your Personal Castle
20. Hawke: Blood Edition with Beard
21. Hawke Skin and Eye Textrues
22. More Hairstyles
23. Dialogue Tweaks
24. Character Respec. Add-On
25. Castle Cousland
26. Tomb of Calenhad
27. Temple of Vulak
28. Steal Cooldown Reduced

I might have missed a couple of minor mods but uhm, yea, that pretty much sums up the entire haul of notable mods I picked up.

Dragon Age: Origins modded characters and companionsMods rock, seriously. How else could I have played Dragon Age: Origins as Garret Hawke?

Not to mention, how could I possibly have cut down score upon score of Darkspawn using Illidan’s own Warglaives of Azzinoth?

On a wee bit girlier note, check out Leliana’s, Morrigan’s and Wynne’s outfits. Sexy! It’s like a mini-harem of wtf-pwn.

And hey, let’s not skimp on the lovin’ for my dark runic armored Warden character.

You know, in a certain light, he almost looks more evil than them Darkspawn.

Oh, and what’s this I see, Frostmourne? On Sten?

And hey, check out this billion-feet tall Ogre. Like, what the fuck?

So yeah, vanilla DA:O’s all good but, mods take things to a whole other level.

It goes without saying that mods, or no mods, DA:O remains one of my all-time favourite video/computer game and RPG. On that note, as always, I’m going to end this post with a series of epic screenshots.

Onward to Awakenings!!! /dreadmuch
